Thank you so much for your generosity!
In the run up to Christmas, we asked parents, carers, pupils and staff to kindly donate foodstuffs and useful household provisions for the Kingston Pantry, a local charity that supports almost 200 local families in need living in and around Surbiton, Tolworth and Chessington.
Despite many of us feeling the effects of the cost of living crisis, our Southborough community none-the-less pulled out all the stops and donated incredibly generously towards this very worthy cause, so much so that we had to use our largest school minibus to deliver the boxes and boxes of goodies that we received from you all.
We were overwhelmed by the response you made and the Kingston Pantry was absolutely delighted with the donations –all received in time to share amongst their clients before Christmas.
Susan Bence, Manager of the Kingston Pantry commented:
“Thank you, Southborough, very much for your extremely generous donation to the pantry! We were able to really fill our shelves to the top which made for such a lovely shop before Christmas..”
Southborough High School would like to say a very big THANK YOU to EVERYONE who very kindly donated such a handsome collection of foodstuffs and household provisions.
