Homework Calendar

Homework tasks are recorded using Class Charts, so that both students and parents have visibility of what is expected.  The minimum turnaround period for homework to be completed is one week.

Year 7

Students are expected to spend 45 - 90 minutes each day on their homework.

Year 8

Students are expected to spend between 45 and 90 minutes each day completing their homework.

Year 9

As students progress towards GCSEs, the homework expectation is increased, so that they should be spending between one and two hour each day completing homework activities.

Year 10

During Key Stage 4, students should be completing homework for at least two hours each day.

Year 11

During Key Stage 4, students should be completing homework and preparing for exams for a minimum of two hours each day.
