Our Safeguarding statement of intent
Southborough High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children through the embodiment of our values in everyday life, both in and out of school |
We expect all students, staff, governors, visitors and volunteers to share and uphold our values of… |
Respect, Responsibility, Relationships, Resilience, Challenge and Support |
Southborough High School takes great pride in its pastoral care and the support we provide for our students. However, before any provisions, support or interventions are applied or implemented, it is important that our students learn and develop the important life skills which will best equip all children for the many challenges they will face now and in the future. Consequently, we are committed to embedding our core values in all our students so they might learn to prepare and adapt to the many challenges of adulthood by being resilient, respectful and responsible citizens within society.
All members of staff are dedicated to promoting the students' wellbeing and at the forefront of this is our well trained and experienced pastoral leaders. Our Form Tutors, Pastoral Support Officers and Heads of Year, alongside a wide network of support staff and partner external agencies, work collaboratively to ensure students remain safe and happy in school. We want pupils, parents and carers to feel confident that we are here to listen and help resolve any issues they may have.
If you have any concerns regarding any students, be these concerns inside or outside of school, then please contact the school directly by:
We will forward on any concerns raised to an appropriate member of staff who should be able to assist you further with your concern/query.
