At Level 2, GCSE, our Attainment 8 score was 4.8 and our Progress 8 is estimated by FFT at +0.2 (well above the mixed gender national average of 0.0). Our percentage of grades 4-9 was 71%, which (again) is above the national average of 67%. In terms of “old money” benchmarks, our percentage of students who achieved 5 grades 4 – 9, including English and Maths was 67%. These are our best GCSE results ever.
At Level 3, A Level, our attainment grades were:
A*-A: 14%; A*-B: 35%; A*-C: 56%, which are above our most relevant pre-pandemic benchmark year (2019).
These grades are excellent for an inclusive Sixth Form and have secured places at a wide range of universities, including Cambridge, Southampton, York and many others. We are also very proud of our students who are moving onto a range of excellent apprenticeships and work placements.
