We are delighted to see our students thrive and attain excellent exam results, with many Year 11 pupils celebrating a string of top grade 8s and 9s across a wide range of GCSE subjects.
This dedication continues into our Sixth Form, where we could not be prouder of the focus, hard work, and determination shown by every student. Celebrating their success as they secure first-choice university places, prestigious apprenticeships, and exciting first career steps this summer has been an absolute joy and a powerful reflection of their ambition.
Among our high achievers, Sixth Formers Angus, Madhav, Jeffrey, and Hamza swept up an impressive array of A and A* grades. Their extraordinary efforts secured highly coveted places at Cambridge University, Queen Mary University, King's Medical School, and St George's Medical School, opening doors to futures shaped by talent, resilience, and exceptional academic promise.
Our commitment to personalised support ensures that every individual overcomes barriers to excel. After battling back from a serious acquired brain injury a few years ago, Rio returned to his studies with us, worked tirelessly, and has now earned a well-deserved place at St Mary's University to study Sport and Exercise Science, an achievement that inspired the whole community.
Similarly, Abhishek—a student with complex learning and medical needs, including epilepsy—was initially only offered a Level 1 college course following his GCSEs. Recognising his potential as a talented artist, our Art Department provided dedicated care, high expectations, and tailored guidance. Consequently, he achieved a C grade in A-Level Art this summer and has now secured a Foundation place at the University College of Art, Farnham, to advance his artistic studies.
