Southborough’s online child protection service

Here at Southborough High School we pride ourselves on our pastoral care and support. Dedicated Form Tutors and Heads of Year work closely alongside our Pastoral Support Officers to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our pupils. Along with caring tutors, our teaching staff and Life Mentor Prefects in Year 11 all help in offering Southborough a unique service of care to each individual student; we work collaboratively in aiding your son’s enjoyment in education.

Although incidents of inappropriate and unacceptable behaviour are very rare, if not virtually non-existent, here at Southborough High School we want pupils, parents and carers to feel confident that we are here to listen and help deal with and resolve any serious issues they may have.

It must be stressed that CareNet is a service set up to support any possible serious concerns for any of our pupils. If your concern is regarding any issues other than Child Protection and Child Safety, both inside and outside of School, then please continue to speak to the School directly and inform the appropriate member of staff who will be able to assist you further in your query.

To forward your concerns to Southborough High School’s Child Protection Officer please send an email to
