On the 6th of March, Southborough’s outstanding learners and a group of media fanatics took on and conquered the BBC Young Reporter project (formerly known as BBC School Report). The day was challenging, however it turned out to be a great success and a rewarding experience. We started the day with a team meeting in the news room, followed by research, writing scripts, doing interviews and finally bringing our stories to life in front of the ‘green screen’. We were grateful for Storm Media, our in-house media production company and former Media student, Charlie Pearce for all his help. What an experience – finding our voices - this has turned out to be!
